Anyone know what the labour / c section recovery ward is like at William Harvey hospital Ashford?
My c section location has moved from QEQM to William Harvey as there has been no space at QEQM before my actual due date. Never been so William Harvey so not sure if you need to share recovery room with anyone after C section or if they have a recliner chair in recovery for partners.
Hiya. I had a c-section at William Harvey last month. The team were so amazing and supportive during both the operation and the recovery I could not fault them. The initial recovery after the surgery there's two of you I the room and after half an hour if your stable your moved to the ward where there's 4 of you to a room. There is pull out recliners for partners and birthing partners are allowed to stay with you 24/7 with afternoon visiting times for other friends and family to visit
@Tyla amazing thanks - it’s good to hear that you had a great experience there. Hopefully mine will be the same
