Collecting milk

I’m formula feeding my 3 week old baby ( for my own reasons no judgment please) however I am still producing some droplets of milk, I’m thinking about collecting this in little syringes, would this be beneficial to LO, similar to collecting colostrum or not?

Probably good, breastmilk has lots of natural things that formula doesnt have. So even though it wont have the same as feeding from the breast (in the form of antibodies) it will have some good building blocks xx

I breastfed for the first 6 weeks but my daughter wasn’t putting much weight on so I moved on to formula. I still pumped but I wasn’t really producing much but when she’s a little under the weather I always give her breast milk that I have stored up.

I definitely think it’s worth saving and giving to her!

Yeah I caught mine in syringes and used it on her little face scratches, on nappy rash and even on my own nipples as they were wrecked (only breast fed for 3 days and stopped right as my milk came in) x
