keeping LO entertained so i can get ready

how are you guys keeping your babes occupied while you get ready in the morning? i use to have him play in his big play pen while i got ready (about 15-20 min) and he would play and be very content. recently he figured out how to climb out of it and now he won’t stay in there to play at all and he just wants to get into everything while im getting ready for the day😅

I leave some non dangerous bathroom stuff in the cabinets unlocked so she can go through that and make a mess 🥲

I just let her run around, we baby proofed every area she has access to so for the most part she go wherever she wants..I think that's the best solution cuz it only gets worse

If I know that I have to get super ready for the day, I either get up early and do it before she wakes up. Or if I have the time I will shower and get ready during her first nap. I know it doesn't always work out like that so if she is awake while I have to get ready I just let her run around and play!

If I’m doing makeup ill sometimes sit on the floor and let her play with brushes or something

@Helen yes this what we have been doing, might just be sticking to this😅

@Favi everything is baby proofed but the bathroom, and i just don’t feel comfortable shutting him out for that period but might just have to find some new solutions for our bathroom!

My girl knows when I am getting ready it is a free for all 😂 if I want it a little more contained Ms Rachel or Mickey Mouse come to help

I usually put him in his crib or pack n play with the tv on or some toys while I shower. He plays until I’m out.
