BCBSMA labor and delivery cost
Can anyone who has recently delivered in Massachusetts using BCBSMA insurance please provide information on what the actual out of pocket cost was? I will be delivering in February in Newton Wellesley hospital with this insurance.

It will depend on your specific plan. I delivered with BCBSMA and it cost me $0, from my very first OB appointment at 10 weeks through the end of my hospital stay with my newborn. Your plan’s summary of benefits should have a section that outlines costs for pregnancy and childbirth.
I have BCBS and had my deductible restart in August after meeting it 😭 but I pretty much was charged what was left for my deductible and that was around 2k
I thought the deductible would reset in January- calendar year
My specific plan year with my employer started in August, I know, so weird
