My midwife told me to give her a call and get ready for hospital if I'm having contractions that last about a minute, 4 minutes apart and for an hour!!
Changing positions, having water or a warm bath may help.. if they lessen or space further apart they are still Braxton hicks. They come more frequently around this stage. Contractions feel more intense and increase in pain. Try having a nap and if they increase in discomfort then head in to get checked out
What's the update? Did you go into labor or was it Braxton hicks?
I lost some of my mucus plug this morning and still having painful tightness on a regular basis but no no sign of labour yet :( at my appointment yesterday they set up an induction for the 14th because baby boy is measuring 3.8 kg but we’ll see if he comes earlier!
@Eszter oh wow, good luck!! I feel like he'll be here soon then
Thank you!!
@Eszter I lost mine 3 days ago and have had the “bloody show” consistently for two days. Cramping but nothing consistent. Things are starting to happen. I have a c section booked on the 19th but maybe she will come early 🙈
FYI After I messaged that I went into labour. Baby was born at 6:13am Nov 9th.
Braxton hicks for myself is just tight contractions not painful. When I had actual a contractions with my first they had cramping pain associated with them and back pain. With the current pregnancy I have only had Braxton hicks no pain just tightening all over and they go away eventually
