I will be traveling with my 5 month old on a 16 hr drive soon! Any tips or advice on making sure baby is safe and comfortable?

Same. No advice, just following.

Oof! I’m driving 5 hours with my four month old tomorrow. Then flying to Mexico in December. So here for advice as well. My advice: bring changes of clothes. My baby has a blowout 90% of the time he gets in the car seat.

I need advice too! 🥹

I did a 6 hour drive when my baby was 3 months, advice I have is to prevent you from stopping whenever baby is hungry to warm up a bottle get a thermos container and put hot water in it so you can easily warm up a bottle without having to stop. I also had a cooler in my car with ice to keep milk cold.

Plan to stop around every 2 hours and take baby out of their seat for 15-20 minutes at each stop to help prevent any blood clots. Also, plan for it to take more than 16 hours. We drive 12 hours to Florida and then back and we split it into 2 days there (4 hours then 8 hours) and 2 days back (6 hours and 6 hours). He did GREAT on the way there, but was so over the car after the week we were there, that I set up a spot between him and my 4.5 year old for me to sit until he fell asleep while my mom drove. Good luck!💕

Echoing much of what Logan wrote. I had to move cross country at 2.5 months with my lo. Stopping when she fussed helped her get about 5-6 hrs a day of driving in and I sat in the back to help keep her entertained.
