Working full-time?

Anyone else struggling while working full-time right now? I’m in the office M-F from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and this is so rough. The exhaustion, nausea, dizziness, and overall blegh feeling I have is killing me! I hope the second trimester is a little easier…

In the same boat! I work 10 hour days 4 days a week in health care. I basically stay in bed all day on my days off just to recover

I feel this very heavy, so I recently had an incident at work where I did raise my voice people were raising their voice. I raise my voice, and they kinda labeled me as like the sensitive one without them, knowing that I’m pregnant and slowly, but surely they started cutting my hours and this whole week I haven’t worked. They didn’t schedule me at all. I’m in the process of looking for another job as I had something lined up already, but is it just me, or am I being discriminated? Go ahead and make assumptions because obviously being pregnant does take a toll on you, but is that just me is it weird?

The first trimester is tough! I worked full time until 38+1. The second trimester was easier and then it got tough as I got to the end. I was due in July and it was boiling! I went nearly 2 weeks overdue as well! You can do it though 💪

Yes I understand mama! While I don’t work as many hours, my job is demanding in the sense that I need to make unit production or I’m looked down upon. No modified schedule. It’s very stressful as I’m in social work so I listen to needs and problems all day just only be able to help a tad. It’s frustrating. My higher ups care about production but the families I work with have higher needs. On top of exhaustion, nausea, being light headed, and overall over work. I want to enjoy the process of my body with my first child. To make matters more frustrating, my boyfriend and I are going through issues where he’s made false promises of taking care of the household just to not be dependable. I’ve given my two weeks notice and then took it back totally torn. I don’t want to struggle. I can take care of myself but now with child I worry about insurance and mental health. Sorry if I’m all over I just really understand this post with my own factors involved 🙈

Ever since I found out I was pregnant I feel like I just haven’t been able to focus at work, trying to convince my husband if there’s some way I just don’t have to 😅😅

I’m in the same boat. I’m struggling as we speak sitting on my desk.. having goosebumps, gagging and lot and extremely tired. 7 weeks only… hopefully this goes away soon

And I can’t concentrate…

@Tabitha Hang in there! We’re in this together!

@Emely That’s tough, I’m sorry to hear you are going through this! Definitely look for another job.

@Terri Well thank you for at least giving me hope that trimester 2 gets easier! 👏🏻💕

@Ayawna D Wow, you have a lot on your plate! Hoping things get easier for you 💕

@Vanessa Hang in there 💕 This is the worst, but we will get through it somehow!

@Caroline LOL I feel this 🤣 My husband and I just started discussing the possibility of me not returning to work after having the baby but things would be verrrryyyyy tight.

Thank Serena! Me too! lol

Struggling so hard. I can barely get myself out of bed and the nausea is HORRIBLE. I’m grateful that I can run a daycare from home, but some days it’s harder than others. I know my first pregnancy’s 2nd trimester was so much better, so hang in there!

@Bethany Hoping it gets easier soon for you too! 😊

Yepppp! Fortunately I have the ability to WFH so I’ve been dragging! Clocking in at 9:00 from home, warming up like an old Buick and then stumbling in the office by 11:00 on the days I come in 🤣

@Nika I need a WFH job! 🤣

@Serena I’m applying to another firm to be 100% remote lol! I’m not trying to go ANYWHERE once I have this baby

@Nika Good luck! I hope you get the job!
