Suspected chemical

Reading up on things I think I'm experiencing a chemical pregnancy I got a very faint positive on 11 DPO, and then tested at 12 + 13 and same again light positives (VERY light) tested in the evening tonight and even lighter positive where you wouldn't even be able to see in a picture. I've also just wipes and had the TINIEST bit of blood. What's next? Do I just sit and wait for my period to arrive? Do I contact the doctors? Why can this happen? Obviously I will test again in the morning at 14DPO but I'm not expecting to see a strong line if I'm honest.

I’ve experienced a chemical pregnancy in the past, when it happened to me i didnt experience any symptoms prior it was just that my period started on the day it was due. It’s so hard to come to terms with, like any loss. if it does happen please ensure you get the right support from your GP or EPU to ensure your body has done all it needs too x

And why do you mean by ensure your body has done all it needs to x

I would personally say they’re getting darker from the picture there. It’s really common for the evening one to be lighter in the early stages due to the HCG being more diluted. HCG doubles every 24-48 hours. I wouldn’t rule it as a chemical just yet lovely. I’ve been using the same tests for this pregnancy and honestly i don’t really rate them. Can you use any other test at all? Sending you all the love💛

I mean ensure it clears everything out that it needs too, so early on its likely your body will run it’s natural course and all the tissue etc will come away like a period however in some cases left over tissue can remain so that’s why its important to seek the right support x

I second what @Leolie says!! I can see the progression (mine too was very slow with easy at home). Light spotting during early pregnancy can be natural too. I know it’s just too easy for anxiety to take over though. Keeping everything crossed your little bean sticks! 💕

Any update? X

I think that’s a good idea to potentially get some peace of mind. Hope everything works out the way you want it too x

It is hard, i know. Testing for me feels like i’m somewhat in control, i test daily too so i can’t even be hypocritical and say don’t do it but i did do a first response and then waited two days to do the other first response as it can take 48 hours for the HCG to double. Feel free to message me if you’d like someone to just talk too throughout the next few days and weeks x
