Waters breaking at 35+5

Has anyone had a positive story with their waters breaking at 35+5. I'm currently in hospital waiting for my contractions to ramp up... Just wanted something positive as my head is going mad xx

Not my story. My nephews (twins) were born at 32 weeks. They’re now 11 years old 💜 you’ve got this 💪

The lady who did my hair last Friday said she had her first daughter at 28 weeks unexpectedly and she's now a thriving 15 year old! She's healthy, smart and active. It'll all be ok, you got this. 🫶🏼

My waters went at 35+4 with my first. They started trickling about 11:30am, contractions started about 3PM and he was born at 17:51. He was 4lbs1oz when he was born but was completely healthy! So no NICU or any intervention at all! He’s now almost 4 and absolutely thriving! Good luck and I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible! ❤️

My son was born exactly at 35+5. Born within 24 hours of waters breaking. Natural labour and birth. Went pretty smoothly. He was on the bigger side, so there were no issues with being on the later end of prem weight-wise. They did keep us in hospital for 10 days as they weren't keen on him leaving hospital until he was closer to his full term period. As a bit premature, your bub may need NICU, so do prepare yourself for that, but just know that if so, they are getting the best care to help them in their early days... You got this momma. All the best with your birth which seems like it will be soon!!

My waters began leaking at 35+6 weeks with my son, I was admitted to hospital the next day. 4 days later he arrived by emergency c section, it was scary but baby was perfect, no extra care needed. I would do it again tomorrow if I had too. He’s now the craziest almost 4 year old who can’t wait to meet his baby sister (I’m hoping she stays put longer then he did!) xx

My waters broke at 35 weeks with my first and I delivered him at 36 weeks, we both spent over a week in ICU due to him being early and me and him ended up having other serious complications due to hospital neglect but was left for a full week as everyone said it was braxton hicks, stand your ground with healthcare professionals if made to feel anything like what I did and you’ll be completely fine girlie! Good luck and I wish you and baby a safe healthy delivery and journey!❤️
