3 months PP

I think I might have a prolapse. I’ve got this like rubber ball / bulge right inside the opening. It’s not protruding out but when I look, you can see it right in the opening. I’m seeing my doctor on Tuesday but it’s really sore to have intercourse and I’m now worrying that I won’t be able to have a second baby. Any advice would be so great x

I also had this! I'm 5months pp and just the past 2 weeks it's healed! I've done 2 things... stopped wearing my daughter in a carrier and also been doing this simple exercise every morning...https://youtu.be/Ml2xTP45jVQ?si=1X3_HmGFzSgiyzE-

@Georgia did it hurt to have intercourse? Was it like a bulge / ball right at the entrance? I’ll look at those exercises - thank you x

Yes it felt like there was extra friction, the bulge felt like a tampon halfway out, that's my best way to describe it. I tried doing pelvic floor exercises for weeks and tried walking as exercise is supposed to help but I felt it was getting worse ! I hope thr exercise can help you, it's not a workout, it's just a simple thing you can do any time of the day ! Xx

@Georgia Had yours remained the same? I’ve heard they can’t actually get better without surgery but you can do things to prevent them getting worse?

@Bianca that's what i read too and now mine has improved loads, I was able to feel it every day, now I only feel it if I've walked very far

Yr body needs 2 heal still with a lot of tlc... just get it checked and go from there

I recovered in full from a grade two bladder prolapse. Many women do but you don’t hear the success stories! I can recommend a free support group called the Pelvic Power Movement Community on Facebook x

@Georgia PT taught me how to properly engage my pelvic floor when doing exercises. I was unknowingly bearing down which was making my symptoms worse. If you’re still having symptoms that are worsened by pelvic floor exercises, I highly recommend PT
