Answer me this - Sterilising…

So bottles that have breast milk in them do not need to be sterilised. They can be washed in hot soapy water and rinsed to be used again. However, breast pump equipments says it needs sterilising after each use but surly if washing bottles with soap and water is enough the same can be said for breast pump equipment? 🤷‍♀️ Do you sterilise your breast pump equipment?

If I ever use bottles I always sterilise them too after using Milton soap to remove milk residue

I sterilised my bottles after every use however I’ve seen a hack that if you pump put the pump in the fridge after the use like you would a bottle and it should stay good for a few days like breast milk would I saw a YouTube video of people doing this and it make sense like when you leave the breast milk for 4 days in fridge x

Washed pump parts with soapy water along side the bottles but then sterilised the bottles using the milton cold water method, also only washed the pump once a day, stored them in the fridge after every use then washed before bed and left to air dry for the next day

Always sterilised my bottles after every use and pump parts once a day
