@Amanda ah thank you! My midwife also said about where they ‘tied the knot’ too! I guess I just worried because I expected this pain to be here from the start not come now! But makes sense it’s all still healing. Did she say the hard lumps were tissue and would eventually break up or need massaging out?
@Claudia yup.. that was my worry too, I had virtually no pain up until 4 weeks post so I genuinely thought I did something wrong 🤦🏼♀️ she just said all would get better in time and to keep doing what I have been doing and take the Tylenol and Advil like I did immediately after … however, on my own I have went ahead and booked an appointment to see about the option scar massage!
@Amanda yes! I had the usual achey pain in the first few days/week but I really felt good after that! Now I have this pain I was worried I had done some damage lol. And yeah I think I’m going to look into scar massage as I don’t like the hard lump haha
Currently 5 weeks post C-section and have exactly what you are describing happening to me. My midwife referred me back to the OB who did the surgery to have it looked at. The ob said it’s normal and she said the hard lumps at either end are where they essentially tied things up inside and not to worry about it. She advised me to start back on Tylenol and Advil for the pain
