Maybe a little self care package, a plant & milano cookies?
This is so sweet! My sister in law got a picture of my dad (who passed in 2019) holding me as a baby. She got a nice print of it and framed it for my new baby’s nursery. It was so thoughtful and I now get to feel like my dad is a part of my little one’s life in a small way
I lost both my parents in 2020, when I was pregnant my family and friends got me little gifts like memory pillow and my sister turned an old ahirt into a baby shirt for my son, I loved and appreciated it but what my husband did really helped me, we sat, talked, told him my memories and wishes, we looked at a few pictures and he just let me cry it out, everyone else was trying to cheer me up and make me think of other stuff but I really just needed to let it out. She might just need someone to speak to, and good food will be a bonus lol
Does she have an old shirt of his? I’ve seen people turn them into sweet pillows or even adorable teddy bears that can be passed down to her baby
