Hi lovely, have a chat to your GP about it. I’m 8w+2 and I have a large cyst on my left ovary although they told me there is nothing nasty about it and don’t stress about it, they have taken ultrasound photos and I will be asking my doctor about it at my next appointment xx
@Bri According to the pictures it measures about 6cm. I had no idea it was there, it has never caused me any issues or pain (even around the time of my cycle!)
@Bri it was 4.3cm they didn’t tel me very much about it
I had cyst on my ovary my first pregnancy that didn’t go away until after the first trimester. They told me not to worry about it then and they just monitored it through ultrasound.
I get cysts on my ovaries every time I ovulate. They said its very common and the body swallows them up again. I haven't had my scan waiting until the 18th but I wouldn't be surprised if I had one again. Don't worry xx
How big was the cyst? I've had cysts before and most of the time they go away on their own. It's just a natural thing that happens I guess. Your OB/midwife should be able to help you understand what to look out for if it is big but most of the time it's ok.
