HEY MAMAS QUESTION

My daughter will be 8months on the 20th and she’s the same way 😭 she can move onto her hands and knees now but just rocks a little then sits back down and instead of sitting up on her own she just rolls over she can’t get up by herself yet

My son is 8 months on Sunday and he is the exact same way

@Andreena @Emily I’m just going to assume they’re being lazy 😩😂 and will figure it out on their own .

same with my son but he did finally start army crawling 😂 try introducing them to a ball if you haven’t already, my son learned by trying to chase it as it rolled. we are still working on sitting up but i started to be more consistent with the boppi pillow to practice and i’ve seen improvement!!

@sha that’s what I’ve been saying cause he sits up in his crib by himself but when someone is around suddenly he can’t lol

My son was like this until he hit 8 months. I call it lazy baby syndrome. Lol. Hell get over it. It's been two weeks and now he's crawling all over the place and sitting himself up out of bed and even standing up by pulling himself up. He almost flipped himself out of his bassinet one night and I just happened to wake up to pee. I turned to check on him and he was just so quiet and not fussy or noisy. We even had him swaddled cuz he was starting to get wild. We got a free crib from offer up and my son immediately climbed out of it. We had to put him in a pack n play. He can't climb out of it and we keep him in socks for extra security so they just make his feet slide down and there's no grip.

Trust me. Lazy baby syndrome is a thing. And once they decide to do it all. They will sometimes even skip steps. My daughter went from semi learning to crawl but she couldn't figure it out and I was standing her on her feet one day at 7 months and she let go and walked across the room. She completely skipped crawling because she couldn't figure it out but she got the walking fast. She's done 3 different types of sports and she's on 9. She just gets bored so easily of things and wants to always do new things. So you're baby will find his way at his own time and trust me. You'll miss the days when you had to assist.

@Monica so today he was in the bed taking a nap and I went to go check on him and he was sitting up watching TV 😩😩😩😭 i’m happy shocked and confused and I don’t know why but in my mind I just feel like someone sat him up, but everyone said that they didn’t go back there. Btw I do believe he will just take off , thanks for the reassurance ❤️
