I delivered my first 2 at 36+4 my 3rd 36+1 and my youngest 28. I’m also epileptic and my OB contributes that as a possibility. We’re hoping to keep my current pregnancy in as long as possible so have regular cervical length checks done. I also have a family history of the women in my family having complications with carrying pregnancies at all much less to term. I pray your little one stays in as long as possible.
@Olivia did you take any precautions or medications the second time?
I had to take Asprin till I was 34 weeks - that had something to do with preventing pre term labour , also had iron and zofran this time round but non related
@Shanniece Oh I see. I don’t have a family history, it just happened to me. So I was wondering what happens with the second one. Because I have to take care of the first one, lift him and he’s heavy.. that could contribute to preterm. Which I’m scared of! I wish you the same 🤗
With lifting things what I was told is if you lift it before pregnancy you can lift it during Your body is used to it but don’t go moving heavy boxes , lifting furniture ext But if you regularly pick your toddler up you can continue I was told to be more cautious as I got bigger but I never got big in my pregnancies anyways
Good to know that! Because I have been lifting and crawling behind him a lot these days
First was 34 weeks and second was 40 weeks exactly
