Baby starts grunting as soon as I put her down.

Why is my baby grunting when I put her down after feeding? Last night every time I put her down she did this. She looks like she struggles but not crying. I don’t know what to do or what it is.

How old is your baby? My baby grunted a lot for the first couple of months. I think just pretty common for newborns to have loud active sleep

@Emily I think she struggles and she’s in pain. They told me at the hospital not to burp her and I think that caused gas problems. I wish I never listen to them

You should always burp your baby, I’m not sure why they’ve told you not too, misinformed you completely because that does cause a lot of pain for them xx

@Emily that’s what I think.

My advice is start burping her during and after feeds. During being halfway through just take a break and burp her, my little ones really gassy so we have to burp multiple times in a feed as well as after x
