Good experience here, you get your own room / bathroom which is nice (like a hotel!) and they were all very nice đ
I had my little boy there last November and I ended up having an emergency c section. Feel free to message me xx
Personally found it terrible, I was induced told to come in Thursday then it was Friday ended up not even starting induction until Monday morning as they were short of staff and beds. Told Sunday to pack and go to labour and delivery to then be told actually sorry the space in the room has gone I was 42 weeks pregnant! Only when both our heart rates went up they suddenly found a room for us, my midwife delivering wouldnât listen wouldnât check me to see how far I was ( I said I wanted an epidural if I was only 2 cm) she was on her computer and I said I needed to push several times and her head was coming out and she wasnât even gowned up!! Had to get my partner and sister to help open the birthing packs, then after delivery I was told there was no room in post partum rooms so would go home 6 hours later if all okay, for the 6 hours I had to sit in labour room with baby, which took up the room for someone else waiting to labour. I found it quite sad, only thing I liked was it was clean
However Iâm going back supposedly in February for baby 4 so hoping itâs better this time around
I had planned c section in June. The c section and staff was so lovely and calming! However the after care was shocking. Couldnât wait to get out of there
I had an elective c and loved every minute. The staff were amazing for us (Sept 23)
I has my lo there in October, I was in Labour 48 hours before ending up with a c section as I wasnât progressing⌠all the staff were excellent, particularly the midwives. You have your own lovely room with twinkly lights, a comfy seat for a visitor, a midwife allocated to you for their whole shift. Food was good (Iâm vegan and they catered brilliantly for me). Couldnât fault it â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
They're brilliant. Can't fault them, and my birth ended up going terribly (my baby's fault, not theirs) but they were still great
@Natalie this is great to hear! I had my first 3 years ago and it was jacket potatoes with beans for every single meal
Lovely experience in the birth centre and in post delivery, everyone from midwives to health care assistants were brilliant and couldnât help enough. Triage was a little oddâŚdonât be afraid to speak up if you feel you need more care/attention as you know your body best - I found they didnât take me seriously enough which led to a frantic dash to delivery with minutes to spare! Once they realised how progressed I was they couldnât be more helpful! đ
I had my LG last October, I was induced quickly due to late diagnosed pre-eclampsia at almost 42 weeks .. they were amazing. My midwife was absolutely fantastic, listened to me and was so kind. They did try to push the induction drip and epidural on me as my labour slowed down at one point but me and my husband stuck to our guns and it all worked out with a delivery I was very happy with. I had a post delivery complication which meant I was in the high dependency unit for a few days, then in post natal until a week post partum and the care was exceptional for both me and my LG. They even let my husband stay with me for the whole week (this is not the norm but deemed best as otherwise I would have needed 121 care). And the food was great!
Had planned c section June last year. Brilliant surgery and initially awesome after care right up until they moved me wards with the other ladies that had v bac. I had old midwife who was so rude and judgy because I didn't breastfeed. I requested the younger staff who were more sincere and helpful. I discharged myself 24hr because it would take hours to just get pain meds when my partner could do more at home. Good was.ok but sadly wouldn't give anything to my partner who was there nearly 12hr. Having your own room is a massive bonus. Hoping I don't see that old nurse again as I'm back there in 6 weeks đ.

Excellent care. They take so long to do anything though!
