Crying in the car seat
My little one is 7 weeks old and hates being in the car seat. The only time he's settled is when he's sleeping, otherwise he will cry non stop until he's out. It's even worse when he wakes up from a nap in the seat.
I'm now starting to get anxious when we need to go out and dread the car trips.
Anyone else's little one the same / have any tips?

Have you tried a dummy? I’m not a fan but it’s massively helped to settle our boy in the car. Keeping doing little trips though so your little one gets used to it x
My 5 week old was like this but now I put the dream egg white noise machine in and it helps massively! I also put him in it in the house and settle him until he stops crying and then transfer him into the car! Best of luck!!! Xx
My boy was like this until I got a different style one. He hated the capsule

My girl is 6 weeks and the exact same, she screams from the minute she is put in the car seat to when she is taken out. Makes journeys a nightmare as I have to do the nursery run for my toddler and due to traffic it takes almost an hour to get home. Yesterday I bought a bassinet style car seat so she is laying down fully and tried it today. She happily fell asleep and stayed asleep for a 20 min car journey and a walk round two shops, it can also go on a compatible pram. I am hoping to only use this until she gets a bit older and then I will try a car seat that stays in the car which I did for my first when she was around 3 months.
