Private room
Has anyone asked/payed for a private room at the hospital? we’ve got quite a long stay as baby is unwell and already I’m struggling with all the noises and everyone being so loud, I don’t want to think I’m being selfish but the no sleep is getting too me mentally and just wondering if I ask for a private room do they normally have any?

I just asked and I got one but I was in reading .. I made it very clear from the beginning on my pregnancy tho and I wasn’t willing to share a room as my baby was predicted to be unwell. So I would deffo ask and say it’s affecting your “mental health” as they always wanna make sure a mum is well in herself too but be persistent

It’s cheeky, but if you ask for some medication to help settle your stomach and tell them that you have symptoms of a stomach bug they’ll soon whisk you into a side room. You’ll be restricted from using kitchen facilities though. Hope that helps.
