I'm actually thinking of doing this myself! I haven't had any issues with pumping but I still am putting a lot of time and effort into pumping so if I have some still in my freezer once my daughter is weaned, I plan to donate most of it but I do want a little to be made into some sort of jewelry, but I'm not a huge fan of rings so I'd likely do a necklace or even some earrings. Also, as for your family, it can be difficult for people who haven't done it to see why it means so much, so just try to explain to them why you want it and how much it means to you, and if they still criticize you or tell you you're "weird" for it, they can mind their own at that point.
Really ? I totally want to do this. So what if it's weird to ppl I still want to do it. My family can think whatever too. Idfc lol. Breastfeeding can be very challenging and I want a keepsake. Especially since this is probably my last time.
I’ve saved breastmilk from both babies for milk jewelry possibly one day. I don’t think it’s weird

Not weird at all, I was just showing off my earrings that have my breastmilk in them and I have a pendant for a necklace with it as well
Absolutely NOT weird, I'm thinking of having one made as well. I didn't struggle producing but my God is breastfeeding/pumping a journey and I want to have something special made as a gift to me for staying strong and creating for my baby 💗

Not weird. I’ve been thinking about doing this too! Breast milk in general whether nursing or pumping has been a consistent struggle for us but I think it would be nice to have something to remember all the work and time and effort put into everything

Definitely not weird to commemorate your journey! Keep in mind that if it's used with epoxy resin, it will yellow over time. This can take weeks to years depending on the quality fo resin used and the amount of exposure to the sun the piece will have. Just something to keep in mind if you talk to someone about doing it. Make aure they use a good UV inhibiting resin :) (I work with epoxy resin but have never made this type of jewelry. I just know the facts lol)
