Ppd- when does it get better?

I have a 2 year old and a 7 month old. And I've been dealing with PPD. Not officially diagnosed or treated, but I've been dealing with generalize anxiety disorder and seasonal depression for years, so I recognize it as similar but different.

I started to feel better around 2 years postpartum so maybe when your youngest is 2? Also depends if you’re breastfeeding, how much rest you’re getting, exercise, the support you have, etc

Damn. I am breastfeeding, but rest is a rollercoaster right now. Exercise usually isn't an issue, and support we're working on it. I just and getting peeks where I question whether or not it was the right thing to have a second kid so close to the first. Not that it was much of a decision for us. thinking that I am not a good mother/ feeling like an object to my kids and husband. Guilting myself for going to the doctors or getting a new pair of glasses bc my old ones were broken because of money.

Honestly, I didn't feel better until after I stopped breastfeeding. So my PPD with Lynkon was especially bad. It's what made me start this group actually. You're not alone. We're all here for you. And you know you can always message me if you need to chat. Sending positive vibes & prayers your way 🙏🏼 ✨️❤️
