I lost weight chasing him after he learned to walk. But I also lost pregnancy weight pretty fast (by the 6wk appt I was back at my prepregnancy weight for both kids). I don't know how far postpartum you are ,but remember it took 9months to put on the weight so you should expect it to take that long to take it off, plus your hormones balancing.
Just focus on high protein and high fiber calorie intake. I also do a smoothie everyday with protein powder, spinach, banana, berries, flax seed and oats with oat milk and a little water everyday! Hopefully this helps. Definitely don’t eat less tho! Also lots of water💧 (reminds me I need to drink more LOL)
I’m only 6 weeks pp but I put on 60lbs and have another 30 to go. I’m hungry all the time too. I’m not sure I’m losing any weight right now, but I’m starting to introduce exercise now so I’m hoping it comes off more soon 🫠
I mainly only stock up on snacks & foods that have lots of protein involved and I keep up with hydrating. I don’t count calories or do anything super special
@Parker 又 what kind of snacks have you been eating? I’ve been struggling to get enough protein in with my snacks
Small portions, I don't overeat, and I fast intermittently. I also watch what I eat.
I was eating constantly but I was also eating fairly healthy. All of my cookies/muffins were made from scratch, I ate a lot of oatmeal based things, a lot of fruit. I also had to cut dairy because my baby had a sensitivity and that was extremely helpful in not eating things like ice cream and chocolates. 😅
cut out refined sugar, processed foods, carbs will make you bloat. add in lots of fiber to diet. eat fiber smoothies before meals to help aid digestion and reduce overeating
Same as above, eating healthy and avoiding ultra processed foods. I don't calorie count, and will eat when I am hungry. I am focusing on rebuilding gut microbiome and good nutrition for baby so lots of fermented foods, fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds etc. Which was my diet before I got all the cravings during pregnancy. I also try and walk most days with LO and dog x
I just didn’t worry about my weight until I stopped BF 🫣 my body is doing an important job, I didn’t care what I looked like and my stomach was like a comfy pillow for him 😂
I have success cutting out all bleached flour and added sugar - this actually is quite restrictive since these ingredients are in a lot, but these ingredients are empty calories that don’t keep you full. So I naturally eat better more filling food which helps with weight management in a healthy way
Trying to cut out snacking throughout the day and sticking to three healthy meals instead. I stay home so sitting and snacking is hard to avoid lol. I try to also get some sort of physical activity in each day too. Whether that’s a YouTube workout in the living room or taking the babies for a walk
Not. Let your body do its thing
it takes 2 years for your body to fully recover from having a baby emotionally and physically everyone is different so i really wouldn’t worry it took me 9 months after my first to be lower then my starting weight then i got pregnant again😂 so god knows second time round im greatful im still youngish I guess hopefully gives me a chance im giving myself a year after this baby to be happy with my body though as 2 under 2 is no joke lol x

Genetics. I lost weight whilst breastfeeding- weight I didn't need to lose as I had a healthy BMI. And found it really difficult to put weight back on whilst breastfeeding whilst eating a LOT of food and not exercising. I would put it 100% down to my genetics as I've always been someone who loses weight easier than gaining it and breastfeeding just exacerbated that.
Everybody is going to be different when losing weight. It's definitely normal to eat more during breastfeeding. Eat when you're hungry. Focus more on what you're eating. Like eating homemade food over fast food etc. Do your research on working out, if that's what you want to do. Make sure your body is healed from your birth, start small, and pay attention to how you feel. You're doing great mama. It's okay to not lose all the pounds right away. ❤️
I think my metabolism just went through the roof because I lost a ton of weight breastfeeding while eating like a 🐷. I also never had a high metabolism before so I put it down to my body working extra hard to create milk & nourish LO!
