Yes me too! I go out everyday but she hates the car seat so I use the pram - even that was a struggle at first but she’s walking now anyway so that’s also another option. If she has to be in a car seat then it’s screen time otherwise we get a train and meet people at the other end for the shortest car part of the journey where possible. I’m sure (hoping) it will be a phase and we will be driving our kids everywhere! For now - we’re restricted
Hopefully this won't be the case for you but my first born was like this, she's 8 now and has always been really stubborn and difficult 🤦🏼♀️ the only thing that allowed us to travel was screen time or timing it well for her nap. It did peak around 18 months though and gradually got easier x
My daughter started doing this then we changed her car seat and she fine now in less she tired.
When we updated our car seat my baby started to like rides again. She might be uncomfortable
We have given in and got the iPad on the back of the head rest. She doesn’t have much screen time in the house as we play but she loves watching films when we drive and now doesn’t cry
Mine hates the car seat and buggy, so going out just gives me anxiety now 😂 it’s just so stressful! Especially now he only has one nap, I’m very reluctant to go in the car even two hours before nap time because he will fall asleep and everything will get mucked up for the day 😂
What car seat do you have? Some brands are more comfortable than others.
@Reena @Katherine I have an isofix car seat the one that spins around not sure if the model exactly, but I’ve taken some attachments out, to suit her age 🥲
Mine has hated the car seat until more recently. What seat do you have?
