Teeth and breastfeeding

I feel like it's too late to give up breastfeeding at this stage as we only have a couple months until we hit the one year mark. But. The teeth are really starting to bother me, the biting phase is over but they just graze me every time he feeds now (he has around 7 fully through). Any tips bf mums? (I'm so over pumping also 😕)

I stopped breastfeeding when my daughter was 8 months due to her just fussing and biting a lot and she had 2 teeth by then and she done well off the boob also she started crawling not long after stopping breastfeeding maybe get a nipple shield to field with the grazing xx

No advice but we’ve started having more nibbling now she has 4 teeth. They didn’t bother me at first but now I can really feel the sharpness

@Sarah I have been tempted to stop a few times but he is so hard to get to sleep I often resort to the boob. Not sure how we'd cope without it 😩 I have used nipple shields With some success but as you say he is so wiggly now it just falls off a million times!

@Emma same, I have red marks in the same places from the top teeth on both sides. Wondering if a different position might help for now

My little one also has 7 teeth and I got ulcers on my nipples last week. I’m back at work soon anyway so it’s prompted me to slowly switch to formula. I found it horrendous last week but it doesn’t seem as bad this week so maybe it’s phases based on where they are with teething and it will improve for you

@Harriet it has actually got better already, I did use shields on the worst nights and just fed less often so he was really hungry. I'm sure your skin does harden to it as well eventually
