Has anyone on here had a vow renewal/second wedding (with the same partner) after a rough patch?
Especially after kids were born and facing a rough with. Share how it went and how you did it, was it a small celebration or did you go all out

We haven’t had a rough patch but our 20th wedding anniversary is next year anyway so we wanna plan a vow renewal and hire out a small venue with the people who have been on the journey w us.

@Lara 🙌🏻 it can be. You can celebrate re affirming your vows after a rough period. And I wasn’t asking for validation. I was asking for people’s experiences of doing it. Wasn’t asking whether to do it or not. I find it funny though how you say in your profile you’re non judgemental. I wonder what about my post made you respond like that. Why don’t you reflect on that ;)

Not a rough patch but I think it'd be a nice way to celebrate 10 years married. It'd be 16 years together by that point 😍 We've moved and made lots of new friends now who weren't at our wedding so it'd be a nice way to include them in celevtstions. I also love the idea of our kids being involved as they weren't born yet. The idea of them in bow ties makes me melt 😂 Our wedding reception itself was hiring out a pub and having a very low key thing so i imagine we'd do something similar. Or rent out somewhere cool in our new local area. More like a big anniversary party, really.
