Are you breastfeeding? My lactation consultant said breastfed babies don’t burp as much cus they don’t take as much as air as they would through a bottle

@Nazaneen I’m bottle feeding and just finding it so hard to burp him xx

My baby burps in tummy time position. Or I lay him on my chest and just hold his legs in M position (think position similar to baby carrier or sling) and he burps instantly. Nothing else works for me.

Have you tried infacol? It’s been a life saver with our baby!

@Elina okay I’ll give that a try thank You

@Tia I did and didn’t help xx

This is my little one as well, she won't burp she hates being winded I've tried infacol and gripe water and every position under the sun, sometimes she'll do one burp other times none but then we are struggling with her having trapped wind then as a result and she's in pain then 🥴 it's been a tough few weeks but I dunno what else I can do to get the burps out , she has reflux too so think that doesn't help x

@Kelly this is exactly what my little on is going through, I’ve changed his milk to the reflux milk, some times he will burp but the majority of bottles he doesn’t x

@Jess honestly I don't even know what to suggest because I've tried everything ! Every position, I've tried burping more regularly but she won't have none of it. My little one is on prescribed milk but with a thickener for her reflux. Best position I do find for her is on my knee, but not bent forward so that her back is straight and jiggle my knee slightly but again it only works sometimes but it's the best position for us x

My son was similar... We would sit him on our knee, face inbetween finger and thumb, slightly bounce and rub up the back then pat 3/4 times then rub up again and pat etc all while slightly bouncing and he would like stretch when we rubbed up then do massive burps eventually within 2/3 mins maybe x
