Some people are just to vent & be seen , some to receive advice. Some people probably genuinely want friends and some just want to chit chat here and there.. Me I do want someone to talk to , and hang out with one day but I forget to text back because life gets hectic. But when I do reply be it a day later or super late. Conversations die.

Yes I can understand life but it’s like how can you build a relationship if that’s how the relationship gonna be ? Is it because you’re more of a talker and not texter ? Or ppl just don’t interest you

@Kita I’m more so a otp type of person. Texting will cause me to forget because i literally don’t keep it charged. Plus only time I have to myself is @2-6 am and that’s before I go to sleep or while I’m going homework

Ok you just gotta make time that’s all

@Kita I try. It’s so much easier if I call because I can multitask. I don’t like to be stuck holding my phone all day when I have to be with my baby and do homework.

@Jewelz me personally I feel like ppl make excuses to why they can’t communicate ! Communication is a commitment n some ppl are just not committed to do that due to past relationships with friends significant others so I definitely can understand where you coming from it’s just something you got to work on but are you a new mom ? That can play a role it in it to because while doing the studying and being a mom can be a lot! I get it

@Kita yes new mom. Definitely it is a commitment. You made a valid point about past experience. I used to feel like it should be no reason for someone not to reply back if they are on their phone 24/7 . But at the same time I just accepted the fact that not everyone wants to give you that time . But I reply when I can . Can’t say the same for everyone. Having a child definitely changed my response time. To exhausted, during the day. I’m a catch me at night time or when baby is sleeping. Unless I’m knocked out .

Personally for me I don’t want to meet up with someone not in my tax bracket lol . In my own offline friend group I can already see how difficult it is with certain friends if they make much more or less, We don’t see eye to eye on many things and sometimes can’t relate. And those are people I actually KNOW., Don’t need the added drama. Meeting someone off the internet already, I need someone who’s mindset is the same as mine. And I think it’s just really hard to find that on here, or they are far away.

@Wendi I disagree! But maybe for you those ppl not your friends! Money doesn’t matter to me whether you make more or less! I’m in a high tax bracket and have friend that’s are no where near close but are great ppl! I feel that you have to have that mindset regardless if you have money or not! But hey everyone opinions is different if this works for you hey then I’m happy for you but I would just look outside the box when it comes to that

@Kita lol I’m not saying it’s a fact. I actually started off saying “personally for me” It’s just an opinion to answer your question as to WHY you might be having issues. Also it’s not about having or lack of money as it is about mindset. Which I said….

@Wendi I read clearly what you said I’m just stating my opinion as you was yours! People mindset these days are very different n difficult! Just take me back ri the good old days when even music was making sense

@Kita I say this because you can have someone who doesn’t have a lot of money, typically they also don’t have higher education. So there are many things they refuse to understand or do or change, but you also have those who have but because they were born with a silver spoon on their mouths they don’t understand how it is for someone climbing their way to the top, some they were already privileged to start there. Yea there are good people in both sets sure. But because of the typically mindset of people in groups not on the same level as you it can be difficult because you may not be able to relate.

@Kita lol ok

@Wendi If I can’t relate I wouldn’t even try to relate but hey maybe cuz have had both in my life I can understand a lil better then most

@Kita well that’s what I think.. or at least trying to say… I think people here may be interested at first, it once they go to your profile and see things you posted they may feel they can’t relate. So they still the conversation. Money isn’t the only thing, I see many moms here who have older kids have a HARD time making friends. Single moms and moms who are married, etc.

@Wendi that’s crazy

@Kita yeah it’s crazy some people think that but I know many do. I mean you have moms who feel judged or like bad moms because their baby cried and they got mad. People do think that way.

I think my own issue is I sucks when it comes to texting and I prefer to be on the phone with someone. I guess texting to get to know someone better but as time goes by I think talking on the phone is better if you want a stronger connection with friend.

@Busayo I agree

@Busayo agreed

@Busayo I’m the same way. I totally agree.

I think everyone should say what kind of friends they looking for because some ladies only want to text but when it comes to hanging out they are to busy and it’s understandable we all busy but i think as a mom we need time to build friendships

@Tatiana agreed
