They just keep saying that CMPA is rare. It’s really annoying. I feel like I’m at the end of my tether. I breast feed so Tbf CMPA would be a massive change for the both of us. Did you notice a change straight away when you started the dairy free formula ?
It’s becoming more and more common now adays.. from what I have seen, it’s really not rare at all 🙃 the fact they are ignoring blood in her poop, is massive alarm bells. Personally I’d be complaining. Ah I see, yeh that would be hard. It got to the point with us though that I’d do anything to help him, his screaming was really impacting my mental health etc. So they say it can take Upto 6 weeks to fully leave their system, and we’re only week 4. There has been some changes, the bleeding has stopped, as well as the rash. He has better days, but then bad ones still too :(
Definitely sounds like CMPA which is very common nowadays. Doctors aren’t clued up on it very well but it is common. My little girl has it and it took over 5 months for someone to listen to my concerns. Blood and mucus is one of the main indicators of CMPA x
Sounds like a lot of symptoms of CMPA x
Sounds like CMPA 100% we also have the same thing. Try speaking to the health visitor about it, I did and she said it sounded like CMPA so when I went to the doctors I told him that was her thinking and he kind of just went okay if she thinks that we will try allergy formula and we have been much better since. It’s still a bit of trial and error finding the right milk but he’s much happier than he was. Also there is a Facebook support group and I massively suggest that as I’ve had a lot of great advice on there
I could’ve wrote this… (dont even get me started on the gp bit) 🥴 I can’t believe the gp are saying she will grow out of it? Grow out of what? Blood in poo isn’t normal? It sounds like CMPA. Took months for the doctors to diagnose my little boy, he screamed and screamed 24/7 and had all the other things you are saying too. It wasn’t untill the blood became really severe (blood was coming out even without poo) was horrible to watch :( that they took me seriously and prescribed dairy free milk. It’s still been a roller coaster but it’s a start. I’d say push push push. Feel free to give me a message if you want ☺️
