@Sydney putting him to bed went okay. I cried much more than him actually 😭 you’ve tried Ferber? That’s what I did tonight, I only had to go in at 3 minutes, he didn’t even make it to the 5 minute mark but I already miss sleeping next to him and his sweet face. 😢
@Kim aww omg that’s so good and relieving he did so well I can imagine how sad you feel you’re doing amazing mama I’m reluctant to try it but feel I will have to
@Sydney I can’t even tell you how good it felt to actually sleep. As much as it might hurt your heart, you shld! My boy did so good, I bet your baby will too! I thought my son wld have such a hard time
@Kim I’m so happy for you I miss sleep:,0 I fear my daughter would have a really hard time too but hopefully she won’t. I’m still hopeful she’ll grow out of these frequent wakings on her own 🤞but not feeling confident about it
I have a six month old who now only sleeps if I hold him or cosleep with him. He used to sleep in his bassinet very well and when we moved to the crib he slept for two hour increments for a few hours and then wouldn’t go back down unless I held him.. I’m wanting to try the Ferber method but my goodness he cries so so much when I try to put him down now he just hates it! Curious to hear how sleep training is going for you?
I have not many words of advice because we’re in the exact same boat I’m feeling absolutely defeated. It’s so exhausting literally ever 2-3 hours we’ve tried everything except cio and I’m so weak to the cries I can’t take it but my mental health is horrible on this little slleep and struggle to know what to do I do hope what ever you decide to do goes well and that you feel more peace soon and most of all that you get some rest soon 😭🫶
