my baby’s cry changed overnight, is this possible?
Last night she started making a different cry to the usual one that mean I’m hungry. It sounded more like proper yells compared to that new born, high pitch screech. Which of course left me really confused what was wrong.
But it was like she could hear it in herself that she was making a different sound and she kept doing this yelling. She almost seemed impressed with herself.

Yes it’s exactly like a meow! Thank you I couldn’t put my finger on it. Yeah she sorta seems to be revelling in how she can do something new!
Omg that’s made me feel better about my son now I just assumed it was something he’d learnt but I wasn’t sure haha! Yeah I guess it’s normal then and we just have to let them enjoy their new skill 😂

My son did this around the same age a couple weeks ago!! His newborn cries are now almost like some weird meow noise but half the time I can’t tell if he’s actually crying because he just seems to enjoy doing it a lot of the time haha x
