Not saying any words

Yep exactly the same at the minute!

My baby is one in about 3 weeks but same, still just babbling.

My lg isn't even really babbling, I think she's just quiet haha

Mine is the same only says mama and baba He is now copying when I make sounds. But mostly babble. I find the more I talk to him the more ge babbles but the days I'm really busy he is a very quiet baby lol

This is making me feel better. My little boy is 1 end of November but he was 8 weeks premature. I've just had his 12 month review with the health visitor and she wants to refer him to a speech therapist. He just says mama or ma or yeee and I wasn't even that concerned but she made it seem like he should be doing more

My little one , babbles but boy like ma ba da it’s just noises nowhere near words at his 10 month review hv said if he wasn’t saying words by 1 we would be referred he was due 6th December so nearly a month early but I’m worrying x

@Megan my twins were 8 weeks prem and they were referred to speech and language therapists too. It wasn't about their speech as much as it was overall development, as they were so prem it's just making sure they are hitting the milestones and if not ways to help them get there, my boys were discharged at their 2 year review and only seen 2 or 3 times by speech and language in that time
