Elective Csection
Has anyone had an elective c section before, what’s the process and at how many weeks do you usally get the date given for the section?

Following - first time baby
They usually give you a date around 39 weeks. However they will prioritize emergency c sections and you might have to wait / reschedule.
I’m considering one, my midwife said it will be booked in around 34/35 weeks
They give you a date about a week before but it can change depending on how busy they are. I’d just bitten into a lovely pigs in blanket sandwich and got a call saying to come in a day early!
