Guess there's not too much you can do now, these things happen & they happen so quick too! You will be more vigilant when that child is around now, they always catch us off guard..

I would let it go, unfortunately a lot of children go through a biting phase and I’m sure the parents are trying super hard and it’s stressful for them too. Unless they were just not watching there child and letting it bite others. I’ve been a nanny for a decade and 4/6 out of the children I have taken care of have gone through biting phases. Often it’s because their teeth are coming in or they do not have the words to express how they are feeling. It’s not malicious, it’s a behavior that is natural among certain age groups. I think often we expect children to behave like adults and it is unfair. I’m sorry lt happened to your kiddo, you have a right to be upset, but I think to take it any further could be harmful long-term

my niece bit my son very bad while I was watching her and it left a big bruise on my sons face and I talked to her about it. she's a good kid but she went through a biting stage. my sister would constantly correct her on it but toddlers will be toddlers. I understand your frustration, though. there's not much you can do because toddlers are still learning. the family apologized I'm sure the last thing they want is their kid biting other kids. it happens it's life toddlers do it as long as it's not a constant thing that is happening and the behavior gets corrected and they meant their apologies, things happen! especially with little kids.

My kid has been the biter and the bitee. It happens, but if it happens frequently the teachers need to be paying more attention to the biter because they are communicating through biting. Anger, boredom, jealousy, sensory seeking etc are all reason my kid bit. Needs aren’t being met so they bite.

Yes, the mom apologized and she’s always been so nice and I now understand why a small child might bite when they can’t communicate their needs or what’s bothering them I try to put myself in the other mom’s shoes because I know how hurtful that is and no one wants their child to exhibit that kind of behavior.. I was just taking back because we have never had this kind of situation before and I was just kind of shocked.

You can't really do nothing mine has came home alot from bits u can't really do anything about the kids are still learning and the one that bit ain't teaching there kids right

@Kaite Highfield well, he had an older brother and I think he may be teaching him bad behavior I really don’t know but, if it happens again I can’t say I won’t lose my shit 💩😂
