Unique way of crawling

My baby crawls kinda weird. Instead of on all fours like normal, he uses his right foot/leg to scoot forward while his left leg is always in a seated position. Kind of like he’s scooting. I think it might be because he learned to sit before fully learning how to crawl. He still has mobility and strength in his left leg because he tries to stand, but I’m wondering if this scooting will cause some kind of muscle imbalance 🥲

Should be fine all baby’s crawl kinda different. Mine started like that but now she does it on both legs and tries to walk and can stand just fine

My 2 yr old did that also and he started walking at 11 months. My 8 month old he crawls normal but he sits kinda weird. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. But if it still bothers you bring it up at his next doctors appointment

Mine does that too he crawls with one leg and the other one stays.

Mine too! Left foot, right knee. Foot, knee, foot, knee. 🤣

My baby does that too! Everyone comments how he crawls different but I feel like it’s fine. He’s so ready to start walking. He’s always pulling himself up to standing

That's normal. Eventually he will crawl "normal" when he wants to move faster my lil sister did the same thing.

Very normal ! A lot of babies do this also before walking

My son would get into crawling position and then jolt himself forward, head first. Landing into his face each time. BUT he's recently started actually crawling. And still jolts himself forward a bit to be faster. When he learned to roll he would roll himself everywhere. lmao.
