Bringing objects really close to face

My daughter recently started bringing objects really close to her face or even sometimes banging her head to get really close to an object. It’s starting to worry me a bit, do anyone else’s babies do this?

My baby does thins with practically anything he can get his hands on, sometimes he’ll repeatedly hit his head with said object.

My baby loves chewing on the remote (we take batteries out) and she has wacked herself a couple times but overall she’s been fine. If you don’t react 9/10 they don’t react. I think if it’s that extent then I wouldn’t worry. She’s learning perception and such. You could switch to softer toys if it’s extremely worry some. But if she’s purposely slamming her head into the wall or something then that’s a completely different story and you should worry.

Yes I think it’s just she’s learning perception and really trying to examine things closely. I’ve heard this can be a sign of autism so I got a little worried. Hopefully just curiosity 🙏🏻

@Denise there are so many things that can “ be a sign of autism “ also your baby is still so young to even be diagnosed with that … Sounds like normal behavior to me I would read to much into it .

@Aspen your right I’m just being paranoid, thanks for that 🙏🏻
