Breastfeeding

Yup 🙋🏻‍♀️ and when she is ready! Still love feeding her to sleep and cosying up to me for the odd contact nap and it’s a magic solution for bumps and upsets! Currently going through a runny tummy and not eating but breastfeeding so I know she is still getting enough and staying hydrated! No plans to stop until she wants to or I’m ready to 🥰

I am too :). I only stopped feeding my 3yo in August when she was 3y 4days old because she was becoming too much for me and obsessed with it. I was planning on stopping my Dec 22 baby in December when he turns 2 because it was getting to the point where I just missed me time but he has recently started letting other people settle him. He has had 1 night at his grandparents which was a success. He still needs me to sleep when at home but has had 4 nights in the last month where he's slept through for the first time ever, so I'm beginning to think that he is realising he doesn't need booby to sleep. Which makes me feel better about continuing to feed him longer. If that all makes sense? I don't mind feeding him when he wants it as long as he is able to survive without me and I can have some me time.

Yes .. still breastfeeding and hopefully will do for next 6 more months. It’s tough sometime but work in difficult situations like regression or teething or sickness . My son drinks mostly for comfort and before bedtime .

Still going and no plan currently, I'm just going with the flow and being guided by my son. He still gets a lot out of it and I enjoy the cuddles and being able to help him regulate.

Thanks all just wondered. I always thought I would stop at 2 but i feel she is getting more into breastfeeding then ever before 😄

Still breastfeeding here too. Wanted him to self wean but he is becoming more and more obsessed and finding it hard as he still wakes in the night for comfort feeds! I'm not sure where to start with stopping and feel a bit trapped with it ATM because he wants it before he sleeps. I love the cuddles and comforting him, but I think the end is getting near for me 🥲

Yes I am. He is definitely more into it than he used to be. I have started cuddling to sleep for bed and naps which he is fine with. But he feeds fiest thing still then whenever he asks in the day which atm is quite a lot x
