I was worried when mine started to do this, it is absolutely normal! Doesn’t mean you’re not producing enough milk ☺️
How frequently do you feed your LO? I find that if I feed every couple of hours then my boobs stay pretty jelly like and feel empty, but if he sleeps for longer like 4-5 hours then they become really full and hard. Did you try to manually express to see how much milk you have? Also, a midwife told me that if your little one is content at the end of the feed then it's all good. If they didn't have enough they'd scream for more. Also if you get lots of wet and dirty nappies then you are fine.
I feed him every 2-3 hours during the day. Thank you for all your replies I think I am just a bit concerned as my boobs have been leaking again as well.
As long as the baby keeps feeding, milk will come out. Did you have any day where he ate significantly more or less? Generally that does happen around 3 months as this is when the supply and demand is finding the balance. At any case, do pay attention if the baby looks like not satisfied after a feed (low chance in my view) so you know you do your best :-)
Completely normal. Keep monitoring little ones weight gain. If anything goes wrong with feeding that's how you'll know 👍
