Lovevery Play Gym: Is it necessary to sign up for the toy subscription?

Those who have the lovevery play gym, is it worth it to sign up for the toy subscription? If so, do you still need to buy additional toys or can the toys from the subscription be enough for the baby to learn and play with?

I really like it! I find it super worth it, and I don’t buy other toys. Unless, there's something that I really find worth it.

I have the gym and don't plan on buying the 0-12 week kit. What it comes with has been plenty. The only thing I've added is an incline pillow to help with tummy time and one black/white soft book. I'm on the fence about starting the subscription after 12 weeks but probably will. If so, then I will only rarely get additional toys to go with it.

@Paula what age did you start the toy subscription at?

Someone gave me the first two kits for my baby shower, but I thought I would start it at 5-6 months because I don’t have those. I found another brand with cool stuff, KiwiCo, and maybe I'll complete it with some. Check them out!

@Ashley so before 1 year, they don’t need much toys besides the mat and books?

@Paula ohh i didn’t know you could buy the kits separately. I thought it had to be thru a subscription. Thank you I will check out KiwiCo!

2 mama bears does great articles on what's in the kits, dupes and what items are worth it

@Alexandra thanks you for that 🙂

With my son, who is now 2.5 years old, we had the play gym and started the kits at 9-10 months and we're still going. Definitely worth it. My sister started the kits with her daughter earlier, she is 6 months and doesn't play with any of the toys. So I really think the 9/10 month kit is a good starting point when they will actually play with the toys

There are good loveevery bst groups on fb if you want to buy certain items or to add on to your subscription either way
