Baby WON'T SLEEP. HELP ASAP

One of my twins WILL NOT SLEEP. He will cry for what feels like hours. I go in and rock him and try to get him to sleep. If hes calm i lay him down and he's immediately awake. Even if i wanted to let him cry it out (WHICH I DON'T) He will wake his twin brother and at that point i will flip out. He is Fed. He is Changed. He doesn't have stomach issues, gas ect. He burps after feedings just fine. His room is a good temperature he is not too hot or cold and he had a humidifier so he's not stuffy. He Never calms down!! He's not teething yet. They just turned 8 months old but theres no signs of teething. I NEED ADVICE PLEASE.

Is he a back or stomach sleeper? One of my twins randomly switches & I never know when until I just can’t get her settled then I roll her over & she’s out 🥲 or have you tried lullaby music playing or white noise? That also helps both of my twins tremendously

Rock him to sleep on you, wait 10 minutes and lay him down gently without letting go right away, lift your hands up lightly. This is what I had to do for my son I was in the same predicament. Good luck mama

@Hannah white noise is on every night. He's a stomsch sleeper and immediately rolls over when i lay him down.

@Natalie this is what ive been doing. He does not lay still.

Go see his doctor. My daughter had bad torticollis. Also acid reflux and had to be on special formula. Hope your doctor can provide some advice

Yes, go get him checked for silent reflux

@Jenn he takes famotodine even if he doesnt have it. So thats not a problem

@Ashley hes been cleared of all of that

something that helps my daughter go to sleep at night is she’s still in the same room as us. granted, she’s almost 3 months but she’s a velcro baby and always wants to be held. i swaddle and keep my hand touching her while she’s laying down until she falls asleep, then i can take my hand back. she also will not sleep if it’s too quiet so white noise is usually going if she’s going down for a nap. i hope something works out for you soon

@Erica aww I’m sorry I hope it gets better for you and him.

or possibly something that smells like you, or those weighted stuffed animals so he feels that someone is still touching and holding onto him

Sounds like my baby. She only will sleep if I’m next to her. She’s 9 months. It’s so tough. I’m sorry

Will he sleep if you're laying with him? If so, get a Japanese futon off Amazon, and sleep on the floor with him. I did this with my daughter for about a year as I had similar challenges
