Il be growing my sons long until he says / asks for it cut and I tell everyone that. They can sod off telling me to cut my beautiful boys hair! Personally love long hair on boys x
@Em, that's what I done with my oldest! He has really long curly hair (like Brian May from Queen), and in the summer, he asked for a haircut, which wasn't cut short but allowed him to remain cool in the summertime. Him asking for one allowed it to be a more positive experience

His hair looks lovely! Ignore the negative comments. Children are free spirits who know their own identity and don't need to succumb to social pressures. My little boy has beautiful long hair and I plan on keeping it that way. He even wears a dinosaur headband when it's getting in his eyes 😍
I think he looks perfectly fine, for me the answer to give depends on how confrontational you want to be lol, from a simple, “he isn’t ready and too fidgety and we don’t want him to get hurt with scissors so we will wait until he is ready” to “my kids hairstyle is none of your business”
We had our little boys hair cut because we were going to a wedding and he really didn’t enjoy it so we are just going to leave it to grow for now. Nothing wrong with having long hair if he is happy.
Next time someone says that, compile a list of very cool men with (or who have previously had) long hair!! And then tell them they should focus on their own hair haha
