Is this normal?? Baby makes this sound

How many months is he , and would be on the safe side and get it checked xx

My little boy makes similar sounds and he’s got mild laryngomalacia, I took him to hospital and dr said it would get better as he’s grows but I definitely would get it checked as they can diagnose it xx

I'm not a medical professional, but my baby did this all the time. He probably started doing it around 5 months old, mostly when he was playing or when he was excited about something. We never had it checked out, I just assumed it was him practicing talking 🤷🏼‍♀️ He doesn't do it anymore at 7 months old.

I'd get checked out just in case. A few things it could be, most of them benign, but better safe than sorry tbh

My son does this too. When he’s excited it’s like a gasp of excitement. I was concerned at first but he’s 6 months now and it happens less. He has his moments of playing around with the gasp but now he just yells 😭😭

I'd definitely get it checked out just to be safe. It almost sounds like gasping for air. It could be nothing like others have said they experienced, but if I had a parent bring their child into my care and they did that, I'd definitely give them a call to get it checked out.

Thats normal. My son is obsessed with blowing raspberries, especially when hes playing and/or content

My daughter did this when she was a baby, completely normal 🥰 If you have any concerns, I’d definitely suggest mentioning it to your health visitor

My son sounded exactly like they when he was born and he was born with laryngomalacia, it sounds a lot worse than it actually is.
