You have to ovulate to get pregnant, which basically means that without having had your periods return, either you aren’t ovulating yet so can’t get pregnant again, or that by having regular sex that you might just catch that first ovulation when it does happen and conceive, meaning you’ll be pregnant before getting your periods back. If that makes sense!
