Switching to bigger bottles

Anyone have to switch baby bottle sizes yet? I think my bb needs to move to 5 oz, I originally was using slow feed avent bottles the small glass ones at 4 oz, I have one bottle that is plastic avent and is larger, thing is I don’t even know what bottle that one was lol. Just the brand not the type, any recommendations?

I’ve only ever used Dr browns and I just switched from 4oz to 8 oz glass bottles at 3 months

I love the boon bottles

Avent only has the Natural Response and the Classic (anti-colic) bottles. My last baby I used the natural response ones as my big bottles. That was before they came out with glass. I worry that the big glass ones might be too heavy though. My baby isn't ready for big bottles yet so I have maybe another month to think about it. I'm also considering the Dr. Brown's big glass ones but she seems to be picky...

Yep we just went up in size. Baby has been drinking from Dr Brown 8oz bottles both glass and plastic. I like the glass better. It’s definitely heavier but I prefer the feel

@Jamie yeah also I heard the plastic ones leak more than the glass. Have you noticed that?

I went to the store I got 4 more of the natural response ones, they are 10 each ugh but atleast he has more bottles now 🖤🖤

We were using plastic avent anticolic 4oz bottles and then my baby started leaking all over himself. He was getting more on him than in him. We thought he had a tongue or lip tie but his ped said he didn’t have any of that. So we switched to the plastic avent natural response 9oz bottles. Best decision ever. My baby is finally moving up to 5-6oz and no more leaking and I love the shape of the bottle. The teats on those bottles are nice because your baby controls the flow. Nothing comes out unless they latch and suck. I bought a set of 4 on Amazon. They have cute colored ones like blue, teal (I got this color), pink, and even ones with designs on them. Don’t forget to make sure you’re also moving up teats when your baby is showing signs on needing to move up.

@Patricia now that you mention that yes!

@Jamie I have a couple plastic for I bought for places I didn’t want glass like airplanes and the fair. But I’ve only used them a couple times and haven’t noticed anything yet
