Crawling

Hi lovely, mines gonna be 9 months on 23rd feb and he is exactly the same! Not yet crawling, can’t figure out the arms thing x I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, we have a 9 month review in December and I will mention it then and see what they say at paediatrics x

We just turned 9 months yday and we are the same. Loves to rock back and forth lol. Had a 6 to 9 month check up and the HV wasn't worried at all!

My boys crawling as of last week but the week before that he was rocking on all fours like you've described. They all get there in their own time :) He's almost there, enjoy the final weeks of not needing eyes in the back of your head 😅

Hi lovely, MY LG is 9 months , and she isn’t crawling or walking , no teeth. Sits up and does the exact same as your LB the jump and chatting but I didn’t crawl at all! I just walked at 13 months so don’t worry it’s totally okay, every baby is just totally different x

I think the rocking back and forth on all fours is what comes just before crawling! my little boy was doing that and then very soon after he figured out how to move his arms and legs properly to actually move forward. I think you’ll have a crawler on your hands very soon!

My girl doesn't even go on all fours, she started to pull her self up a bit so I think she will be walking sooner then crawling,not all the babies crowl..

Mine is 9 months (8 months corrected) and has never ROLLED. And she doesn’t crawl. Doesn’t go on all fours. Cries of on tummy. Some babies miss or skip milestones. I won’t deny it hasn’t worried me too, but I’m sure he’s ahead in other ways.

Heya my daughter started to pull herself around on her tummy at 7months and have just started crawling on her hands and feet 🤣 she can crawl normally now (nearly 10 months) but chooses not too. She was pulling herself up to stand before crawling properly. Very different to my son who was crawling normally at 6 months I wouldn't worry at all but food was always the thing that got my little ones moving! Just sit the other side of the room with a packet of snacks and they will find a way there 🤣

@Teagan yeah I’m gonna defo start doing that. He don’t have much interest in going for his toys but if it’s something he’s not allowed he’s straight for it. Also he pulls him self up but isn’t quite steady. Gets in a sitting position. And is saying words. He’s started saying “oh dear” coz that’s what I say when he falls down etc. he is defo moving around I know that but he just seems to be stuck in the rocking position haha xxx
