Also warm baths are good for easing the pain
Also a twin mam to be (23 weeks) and having the same issue my midwife referred me to the physio just yesterday, she said I should hear from them within a week! So no tips yet but definitely get your midwife to refer you!
Thank you both! Midwife made the referral last week so got my first appointment next Thursday but just today the pain has been unbearable and I’ve also got a 18 month old to run around so no rest 😔😔xx
I know your pain, I have a 17 month old little boy who doesn’t know how to sit still and loves being outdoors😭
Also have a 2 year old so def know your pain! I hope you get some relief soon! Xx
Ask your midwife for a referral to physio! I also have sciatica, I can send the exercises/stretches my physio gave me for it? Also some tips she gave me: -don’t be in the same position for more than 30 minutes -sleep on a soft surface she recommended a double duvet folded in half -sleep with a pillow between your legs -use the hot water bottle 4 times a day as a preventative rather than when you’re in pain because that’s a short term fix -also get a belly band! I got referred to women’s physio from my normal physio but your midwife can refer you too, I got referred early because my first pregnancy I couldn’t even walk I had to get basically carried everywhere and I never got to the top of the waiting list!
