I “look” pretty much back to normal after 10 1/2 months. But I lost a lot of muscle and fitness that I’m still working on, and I have extra skin on my tummy. But I’m very happy with how things have bounced back. I eat whole foods, try and have lots of protein. I do reformed Pilates 3+ times a week, run once a week and yoga once a week. I’m mostly plant based with some meat. I think the secret is just not eating processed junk and getting jnto bad habits. Oh and breastfeeding is a godsend for getting back in shape!! Good luck!! X

Following since I am over 35
Keto diet plus gym after 9th month pp. Some additional massages for the skin to bounce back.
Snapped back within a month pretty much! I'm a Pilates Instructor, so I worked out all pregnancy and had no recovery post birth besides the basic 6 weeks no sex or heavy lifting. I was 36
I did nothing. just ate homemade food through my pregnancy, did long walks, low intensity yoga at home and didn’t put on too much weight, lost some weight during the 1st trimester with food aversions, which was great! After birth snapped back to a better body at 38. Im 8 months pp and still at the same weight I was when I lost the initial pounds during trimester 1.
I'm 8 months pp and still have a ton to do to go back to where I was. I'm on a diet and already lost 5kg, only 3kg to return to my pre pregnancy weight, and I gained 22kg overall so, no bad, I still have the overhang but this has very much improved since the birth and I hope with fitness diet etc to return to a flat tummy in the future but, I already see much improvement in my body, not yet how it was before but I'm just happy to return to a new me :) oh gave birth at 36
I’m 41 and looked like a sack of shit before having my baby. Now I look like two sacks of shit.
Had my first at 39, still about 15lbs from my pre baby weight, but my body looks generally the same. Not working out or doing anything specific to lose the weight. 🤷🏻♀️ It'll happen when it happens.
First at 35 - body back in 2 weeks. It’s mostly breastfeeding! I ended up losing even more than I was pre-pregnancy which was a little much for me but settled when I was breastfeeding less. Similar for second baby at 37
After my second, I am pretty much back to my original weight. The skin on my face is a different story.. 😱
Nope not yet and that was 2020…my baby was 9.5 lbs and my belly was really stretched out and changed the shape of my stomach so I expect to have more loose skin when I finally do lose the weight
@Sharon awww mama don’t say that but really I hate my breasts after pumping so yea I get it
Yes I had my first at 39. I got my body back at around 8 months pp. I BF which helped a lot. Now that I am 14 months pp, I am implementing a work out routine. I need to work on my core because I have none. Lol.

I “snapped” back almost immediately. By 3 months PP I had lost 35lb and now just at 7 months Ive lost 50-55lbs. Im about 15-20lbs smaller than pre pregnancy. I BF, occasionally supplement but other than that I haven’t done anything to lose weight or get my body back. I worked out 4-5 days weekly pre pregnancy but I haven’t gotten back into the gym yet.
First baby, I snapped back immediately. Second baby… Seven months later I still weigh the same as when I was pregnant. :(
I’m 35 and Reading the verity of responses helps me confirm EVERYONE EVERY BODY is different. I have been trying not to feel like crap about the fact I did not bounce back right away at 3 months PP. I miss my pre baby body but I’m 50lbs heavier. Trying to be patient with myself.
I was heavy to begin with still heavy now. I weigh less than my highest weight though so that’s my silver lining. I hope to get in better shape for #2 so I’ve put that off at least a couple of years. I had my baby a couple months before I turned 35. Second won’t be happening for at least 2-3 years if I have anything to say about it.
yes! had my first at 37 and i snapped back almost immediately. ✨
