Nope! And that's okay with me. He's not ready for it.

Not even started 😩

Nope

he tells me that he needs to potty after he uses his diaper 😭

Yes! My girl flourished in this department and pretty much potty trained herself. I can’t say the same for my first born however who was almost 4 before she was fully potty trained!

My boy is both day & night trained- I’m a career nanny so experienced! Very familiar with threes and truthfully scared of training during the power struggle stage

My twins are fully potty trained thankfully! But I’ve heard girls are easier than boys, and they also were interested in learning because they saw their older sister using the potty which was helpful.

Yes fully potty trained!! I love it but it does come with it challenges 🥴

Unfortunately not fully there yet

We've been exposing him to the potty for a bit, tried a solid effort last weekend with prizes and bringing him to the potty often, but it backfired. He pooped in his diaper and looked so ashamed and sad. Poor baby. So we decided to reel it in for a bit until he seems more ready

@Megan omg megan, tell me how you did it?! My oldest was potty trained at 2.5. And i just gave myself grace since i’m doing twins at once. I know boys usually take longer so i’m fine with that the girl twin will pee but won’t #2 in the toilet unless she is already naked😂

I appreciate everyone’s response. Helps me not worry too much that the twins aren’t fully there yet. I had a deadline of December based on their progress but I think I can be more lenient.

Not yet. Going to attempt to over thanksgiving break and see how it goes.

@Lai if I’m being honest, it’s all a blur LOL. It was definitely challenging with twins. I did the whole “naked from the waist down” method for about 5 days. We hunkered down in one area of the house (living room/kitchen) for my sanity of not having accidents all over the house and I had 2 little training toilets to avoid tantrums over who’s turn it was lol. Tried sticker charts, but stopped because that also caused tantrums when one earned a sticker and the other didn’t so just majorly celebrated/praised when they went in the potty. I know some twin parents do one at a time, but that wouldn’t have worked with mine since they always want to do what the other is doing. You definitely deserve grace, potty training twins is not for the weak! You’re doing great and I’m sure they’ll get it soon 😊

Yes! Aside from wiping. She's not great at that

Nope..we haven’t even started yet

@Megan lol okay. that’s what i did too. Where their naked waist down for a weekend and we stay in the living room area. Thank you!

I have carpet in my living room..wat should I do… I tried the panty first pamper on top and that didn’t phase her.. she didn’t care that she pooped or peed

@Julia i would try anywhere in your home where you don’t have carpet. Or explore a different method. I just youtube ideas

Not yet, we’re working on it though! She’s recognizing when she needs to go by herself and walks herself to the potty. We’re napping without accidents, but I haven’t gotten brave enough to try bedtime yet.

My kid is turning 3 in March 2025. He’s half potty trained 🤦🏽‍♀️ he uses the bathroom on his own and asks for “pribacy” 😭 but he won’t poop in the toilet

Not yet, haven’t even started.

Yes 🥹 we started in august and I can now say starting last week that he’s fully potty trained with no accidents. 😅 it was a long journey.

@Natalie whats the power struggle stage?
