Reheating

I know everyone says don’t reheat… but has anyone done it? Turns out my husband has been reheating milk after it’s been heated once already and doing that since he was a baby (I didn’t know) and he is now 7 1/2 months! I’m actually shocked and not sure how to handle this.

It’s an honest mistake if he wasn’t affected and his growth hasn’t been stunted then he will be just fine! As long as your husband knows now all will be fine! You’re doing great and you guys didn’t really do anything wrong it just loses some of its nutritional value but like I said if he is gaining good weight I wouldn’t dwell on it🫶

They used to do it years ago and all those kids were fine, its just that we know now that its not as nutrition or sterile as fresh. Just make sure he knows he shouldn’t be doing it anymore

Please don’t shame me or think I’m awful but we do it all the time..

You're not supposed to because the composition of formula is a breeding ground for some dangerous strains of bacteria that make babies very sick. But it's a risk, not a sure thing. You would know if bad formula had made baby sick. Just move forward and do it the right way now that he knows. It's an honest mistake.

Not a big deal ! I’d let it go nothing you can do now …. And like said before it’s more of a precaution to prevent bacteria but obviously your baby is just fine !
