If u think mom cozy is expensive gurllllll name brands are more costly. I have elvie stride and I had so many issues getting milk out with it as my nipples kept shrinking and I had to keep getting new shields. It wad too much. I ended up with spectra1 and that's all I needed. Likely going to us that with next baby. Wireless are good for once in a while, I missed a feed while I was out sort of thing. But if you need something to maintain supply and exclusively or part time pump you should get a battery power or in the wall pump
My insurance had me decide between a wireless one and a regular one. I chose the wireless which I loved because I was able to pump on the go and while doing housework. I hate that there was so many pieces to clean and the suction weakened soon after using so this time around I’ll get a regular one but I also might buy an expensive wireless one just because it might be better than the one I got through insurance.
I exclusively pumped for 9 months with momcozy s12 pro and i was able to get alot of milk out, it was very convenient as i was always moving around the house or on the go, but yes it was a bit out of my price range so i ended up only buying one pump, and using it on one side then the other. This time around my insurance approved me for the lansinoh discrete duo and OMG it was horrible, i have seen some good reviews, so that might have just been me. I couldnt get more than an ounce with that one. That being said, regular pumps ARE better if you're looking for maximum milk supply. I loved the lansinoh regular pump, and the spectra.
@Aina🇵🇸🍉 ohhhh! I am having to exclusively pump this time during the day and I’m using spectra (which is awesome) and the lansinoh discreet duo. It does suck then! It’s so annoying I’ll use it to pump for like 30+ min and I won’t empty me so I’ll use my spectra and I’ll get 2+ more oz in 2min. Didn’t realize that pump just isn’t great.
@Alyssa yeah and lik original price for the lansino dd isnt cheap, it's horrible compared to other wireless pumps out there. This time around my supply completely ran out and my baby is on Formula. A part of me is relieved like a weight off my shoulders. But then, MOM GUILT creeps in lol
I say before getting any pump, see a lactation consultant to get your nipples measured so u have the right flanges right away. Also heard Mandela freestyle was a good hands free pump. Idk if its wireless tho
@Aina🇵🇸🍉 honestly though the stress of trying to get back your supply is so not worth it. The amount of tears I’ve shed over pumping while trying to take care of two littles is ridiculous 😅 your baby will never know the difference and a happy mama is way more important. But I totally understand the mom guilt too, it creeps up on me every night before I go to bed even if I did absolutely nothing wrong that day 🙄😂
They are nice for convenience but not great if you’re exclusively pumping because they don’t get as much milk out (not as powerful/ less suction)
